• Key Achievements & Personal Impact:

  • Portfolio Management: 500+ applications spread among SHIELD (Disney branded ISE product "Start") and SNOW (Service Now) for all Disney Divisions with WDS ownership with scheduling yearly assessments, and ongoing management of any/all findings.

  • Control Framework: Created and maintained the AppSec controls and processes around application security assessments for all applications under the WDS umbrella covering GIS' corporate ISPS controls, MPAA, TPN, as well as creation and management of WDS AppSec control questionnaires and reporting metrics.

  • Incident Management: Represented Walt Disney Studios on security and content leak incidents providing any/all details from applications managed and assessed as well as connecting with and working with 3rd party application teams to quickly resolve any issues and/or track content leak sources.

  • COVID Workflow: Formulated application strategy for studio staff to work from home and workflows and applications to support this transition securely for the first time in Disney history including fast tracking applications, workflows, and securing content outside traditional air gap infrastructure.

  • Fox Merger: Brought into scope hundreds of applications during the Fox merger and under the SLAM initiative sat on the board to take on and handle all application assessments and compare best strategies to merge in applications across WDS application coverage pulling from corporate SNOW with Fox Assets to internal SHIELD tooling and assessment process.

  • 3rd Party Assessments: Main contact for 3rd party application assessment companies and management of all application assessments and staff scoped to their involvement of manual assessments on applications forming relationships with executives at dozens of 3rd party companies.

  • Executive Reporting: For all studios including Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm / ILM, Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS), Pixar, 20th Century Studios / Animation, MPP / Walt Disney Pictures.

  • Management Audit: Handling of legal management audit requests providing any/all information on processes, assessments, and remediation working closely with Disney Studios' legal teams and the application team(s) involved.

  • Training: Hiring involvement, creation and handling virtual onboarding and digital video training, development of onboarding written documentation and processes, creation of the WDS ACS Handbook and Runbook with all processes around application security at WDS.
